25 YO+ Kei Truck, Vehicle Registration Southern U.S.
- Alabama AL: Kei trucks are street-legal with a 25 mph speed restriction in Alabama.
- Arkansas AR: If registered under a Class Eight Farm vehicle, Mini Trucks are allowed on public roads in Arkansas with a speed limit of 55 mph or less, with restrictions on controls and access highways.
- Florida FL: Kei trucks in Florida can be registered to operate only on streets with a posted speed limit of 35 mph or less.
- Kentucky KY: Kei trucks in Kentucky are street legal and have no speed restrictions in places where local ordinances allow, but they can only be used to cross state roads.
- Louisiana LA: Kei trucks in Louisiana are street-legal but not for on controlled-access highways or the interstate.
- Mississippi MS: Mini trucks in Mississippi can be used on public roads with a bill of sale, a $100 title bond, and an ownership application.
- North Carolina, NC: Kei trucks in North Carolina can be used on public streets with a speed restriction of 55 mph. They are banned from roads with speed limits over 65 mph.
- Oklahoma OK: Mini trucks in Oklahoma are street-legal for all roads except for the interstate.
- Tennessee TN: Kei trucks in Tennessee are street-legal for 35 mph or less roads. However, this is subject to local ordinances.
- Texas TX: By abolishing the Texas 14-year mini truck prohibition, Kei trucks are now completely permitted for use on public roads!


Road Legal Kei Trucks UTVs
Kei trucks can be on all roads at 55-mph or less and circumvent the 25-year federal vehicle exemption by being recognized as UTVs in states that allow street-legal UTVs, with 45 states recognizing the rulings of other states. You can obtain your license plates through the mail and residency in the state is not a requirement.

Mini Trucks For Farmers & Off-Road

- Delaware, DE: Kei trucks are not eligible for road registration in Delaware. Our listings allow registering them in another state as a street-legal UTV.
- Georgia GA: Mini trucks in Georgia cannot be registered for road use, although there are exceptions for farmers using them on public roads. Our listings offer a way to register these vehicles in another state as street-legal UTVs.
- Maryland MD: Mini trucks are not eligible for road registration in Maryland, our listings provide a method to register these vehicles in a different state as street-legal UTVs.
- South Carolina, SC: Kei trucks cannot be registered for road use in South Carolina. Our listings offer the option to register them out of state as street-legal UTVs.
- Virginia VA: Mini trucks are not eligible for road registration in Virginia, except for farmers who can use them on public roads. Our listings allow registering these vehicles in a different state as street-legal UTVs.
- West Virginia WV: Mini trucks cannot be registered for road use in West Virginia, except for farmers who are allowed to operate them on public roads within 20 miles of their property. Our listings offer a way to register these vehicles in another state as street-legal UTVs.
